Weekend Roundup

After the Bassett Bash... we dropped off Kingston and headed off to the city to check out the Grub Street Food Festival and we even found a slush trunk named Kelvin..get it!...well anyway here are some pics:

haha what is up with my facial...and David is eye-ing my food...we were starving...I got this from the Patacon station... it is a corn patty with shredded beef tomato lettuce and some white and red sauce...quite good..mmm...Kelvin at Kelvin.

Then we headed over to Vincent's in Little Italy....Me and the mister shared bruchetta and penne bolognese ...again yum-o..




Then Sal and Huan had this grand idea to giving Windell (my co worker) a bamboo made LOBSTER..it had the hugest antennae and it so funny when we handed it to her for her bday gift..for decor purposes of course

Since Sunday is usually my only day i have no work or something to do..i decided to go on a little impromptu visit to David's bridal just to see a few different styles and silhouettes on my body type...it's pretty exciting and weird when i was in my first dress....i tried on ballroom dresses, trumpet style dress and empire style too........i guess i tried on a total of 8-10 dress...i narrowed my faves to 2...but i still wanna see different designers like Wtoo.  =) sorry no postings with dress pics or sneak peeks..haha the fiance looks at the blog..sorry Sal! =P

Bassett Bash

Anna and Kelvin invited us to go to Van Saun park for the annual Bassett bash...so many bassetts in one place..of course Kingston was antisocial..haha

i love fall ... apple pickin

The weather this weekend was purrrfect weather for doing something outdoor-sy...sooo why not go APPLE PiCKiNG, we also picked out a cool pumpkin to carve for Halloween and a white gourd for decor!!!..Sal and I have been trying to make it a little annual tradition every fall...this time Ate and Ray came with us...of course Ray was making it his own little photo shoot and using the gourds in very bad ways..lol...fun nonetheless...=D

 

   

 

 

  

 

Date night

Tonight Sal and I went up to Bergenfield to check out a potential videographer and after we completed the meeting we decided to eat in Clifton since we were in the area....Cuban Pete's was quite yummy..now I have leftovers for work tomorrow..SCORE!!

Tuesday in the City

I love being off and then going to the city with an objective...so early in the morning we decided to meet with one of our prospective photographers in her cute apartment in Brooklyn...the meeting was very productive..then we heading over to the upper east side..to meet Lauren Conrad and get her new style book signed !!..as we were waiting in line for 3hours my stupid phone forced me to do a factory reset..so I lost all my pics previous to meeting her..here are some pics from my camera..she's soooo nice and pretty...she complimented me on my shirt..of course it was one she designed for Kohl's but whatever..

Saturday shindig

Friday night Sal suddenly decided to have people over our place since some ppl still have not seen it yet...I guess cuz I never thought our place was ready to have ppl. over..but I guess it will never fully be ready..hehe..it turned out really well even though we don't have enough chairs, but our floor is pretty comfy I suppose..:P and as I was cleaning the little amount of mess and come into the livingroom to see Sal knocked out on the floor..

Chanpo Baby shower

so the first hybrid baby eta is Dec 12th..half Chinese and Italian&Hungarian...cannot wait to see the little one..but to celebrate his anticipated arrival Sal's mom planned an awesome baby shower at the Shannon Rose ..ironically an Irish pub ..go figure..haha..

Olde Mill Inn bridal show

Soooo..Sal and I just went to our venue that hosted a bridal show with all different vendors like florists, food and dessert tables, invitation places and photographers...It was actually a really nice bridal show since I went to another one that was ok ...so here a little sneak peak of our venue..I love that outside courtyard area..very purttttty!
